Hi Felicity,

I enjoyed your book. I was teaching from Matthew 28 last night at our mid-week meeting (legacy church stuff), when I talked about the great commission I tossed out the idea of how "simple church" could be another significant way to impact our community. I encouraged people to start thinking of different ways that they could perhaps have groups or gatherings that could be "church" for some people. I am looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Tony and I totally agree with you on the possibility of legacy and simple churches working together. We are currently working on a mega/micro initiative where legacy churches and simple churches are exploring ways of cooperating together in Kingdom projects. Here locally, we are increasingly working with Austin Stone (a mega church). Both patterns of church have much to contribute.
